Piyang Flores

Piyang Flores is a visual artist from Metro Manila. She mainly uses graphite and pen & ink on paper as primary medium. Often described as a surrealist, her art touches on different subjects. What binds her works together is their recurring theme of exploring humanity, the side of intimate introspection—the inner self; the human mind and its ever unpredictable emotions that fluctuate. She often expresses these through the darkness and ethereality of its nature.
